MR. BOJANGLES

Mr. BoJangles It hurt us to look at you when you showed up in our lives. You were so thin and hurt. You taught us the meaning of unconditional love. You gave us joy. We miss mornings with you nuzzling your way between us telling us you need to be rubbed, and those sneezes – because you couldn’t lay on your back for long! You always came up to us with your tail wagging so fast it was like a blur. Sometimes when you got out of bed you would throw a little running fit. You always felt good and full of energy when you first got up in the morning. You would always beat us outside in the backyard by screaming through both doggy doors and you would be waiting for us outside...

BEAU

Beau you came to us in February 2004, along with Sadie. We found you laying in the driveway, dirty, hungry and scared. Needless to say you both became beloved members of our family.Beau you had the sweetest nature and loved to chase Sadie and steal kibbles from her food bowl. You loved riding with Mike in the truck, playing with all toys and going to the beach. Beau your sudden passing early Thursday morning has left us very sad. However, we feel blessed to have had you for the time we did. We will miss you chasing us through the house, showing teeth to get a treat, and always giving that unconditional love. We have lots of good memories. Mike,Sadie, and I are lost without you. Rest in peace Beau Beau. We will aways...

BENJI

Benji was one of the sweetest puppies anyone ever had. He loved to sleep, eat, and sit with you as long as you weren’t too “touchy-feely!” His favorite past time was going on a walk to the mailbox and back. We might should have named him Frito, because he smelled just like a bag of fritos. He loved to cuddle up in Mama’s lap or at the end of Dad’s recliner. If there was a fire going in the fireplace, you could always find him napping in front of it. Christmas was Benji’s favorite part of the year, and he even opened his own presents from Santa! Benji has been part of this family since he was 2 months old, and he would have celebrated his 18th birthday in July. Allison was only 7...

VIC

Vic Smith Born April 17, 1999 Died December 12, 2012 Vic was the best dog we ever had. She was sweet and gentle, loving. Vic did not have a mean bone in her body. Vic’s weight was 50 lbs. but she always wanted to be a lap dog. Vic loved on occasion a special treat, she loved peppermints. We would give her the mint in the wrapper and she would carefully take it out of the wrapper with her paws and then enjoy her mint. She would just leave the wrapper on the floor never tried to eat it. She use to love her little swimming pool in the back yard, she loved reaching in like bobbing for apples and retrieve her toys. Vic will be missed, My husband and I feel so empty...

SADIE

Sadie Richardson Born: 30 Nov 2000 Died: 5 Dec 2012 Our family was blessed to enjoy twelve years with a wonderfully loyal and loving Golden Retriever, Sadie. Having her put down was unbelievably difficult but we enjoyed our last few hours with her as we watched her enjoy some of her favorite activities. Her head was nestled in our laps as her heart beat its last beat. She was hand-picked from a large litter of pups in Ashburn, Georgia by Mom, Susie and Deke while Dad was deployed. She immediately captured our hearts. Susie selected the name “Sadie” to represent our children: “S”for Susie, “A”for Aneesa and “D”for Deke. She was meticulously trained by Mom and Susie, but she had no desire to learn a repertoire of “tricks”. She was content with sit, stay,...

PRECIOUS

Our beautiful, sweet Precious was born in September of 1999. She was a much beloved wedding gift from Roberto Gomez to his new bride, Lourdes. Precious lived many happy years with the Gomez family until newborn Gabriel developed allergies. A family friend, Janet McMurray, was happy to adopt Precious and give her a home. This worked out wonderfully as the Gomez family could still see Precious and know how she was doing. After many long and uncomplicated years, Precious passed away unexpectedly over the Thanksgiving holiday. She was with her adopted mom, Janet, and went peacefully in her sleep. Precious, you were a beautiful, sweet, cherished little girl. You were SO good and everybody who ever laid eyes on you or met you just adored you. Both of your families love you very, very...

LUKE

On November 1, 2012 we lost our beloved Luke to illness. He was just shy of eight years old and unfortunately he was only with our family for a little under four years. Since we had baby sat him from the time he was a puppy, he adapted to our “crew” readily. As with most pets he had a unique personality, especially his adoration of our youngest cat. He was fiercely protective of our home and though we have six other pets his absense has left our home and hearts empty. He was deeply loved and will always be...

KELSEY

“My Sweet Baby Girl, Kelsey” 1991-2012 We found each other in 1994, when we both needed a friend the most. You were full of mischief and always made me laugh. You got me through the rough years and when “Daddy” came into our lives you were fully accepting and had your own special friendship with him, as well. Our family grew to include your sisters, Lexie and Allie, and although you seemed a bit miffed about it at first, you all grew to love each other very much. Kelsey, you were my rock for over 18 years and the Queen of our home. We miss you greatly. Your body gave out after 21 years but the love and memories that we have will last forever. I will never forget My “Pretty Kitty”! Love, Hugs,...

She was superb at identifying different types of sandwiches you were holding as well as how to position herself to block anyone else from getting close to...

BELLA

Today my family bid farewell to one of our furry family members. (Bella) A Wolf-Shepherd, 15 plus years old, came to us from the Perry Shelter in her old age, homeless and not in the best of health. The day I brought her home, I walked up to her pen, opened the gate and told her lets go home. No leash, I turned and walked through the gates to my car, opened the door and she climbed in the car. She sat in the seat and looked at me as if she knew she was loved. From that day on, she would meet me at the gate and follow my car down the drive and wait for me to open the door to greet me. She joined our family as if she had always...
